i am currently trying to add water to my map. But when ever i try to run radiosity on my map with sapien, I get this error message after I type "radiosity_start" :

radiosity error: degenerate triangle [or triangle with bad uvs] (see blue in error geometry)

this is the imported error geometry:

I know that the water is not the problem, because in sapien, I see the water running fine. But its when I try to physicly lower a couple of triangles from the bottom of my map, to make a shore.

i have gotten my map to compile with the water, and with the box not changed. I have had this problem ever since i started to make maps. I stretch a few triangles to form a shore or a hill, and i get this error. What am I doing wrong?

Have you uvw'd the geometry?
Select all the faces you want to uvw and go modifiers/uvw map then pick box and set the length width and height to all the same number (try 100, if that looks tiled then try something bigger)
convert to editible poly when done, export again.

thanks for the help! It worked when I set the lenght, height, and width to be the same, it worked. thanks again for the help!
