hi halomaps community:
i'm wondering if one of you people could make a a plane of grass roughly the size of a ghost.
here is a routh diagram:

++++

and roughly 1 meter high.
doesnt need a bitmap but a simple one to give me a rough idea would be appreciated.

If you actually want a Ghost model we cant get you one... unless you really just want the grass scenery for something?

By grass plane I'm assuming you mean like Wheat Field sort of deal?

a30 used a Detail Object Collection for grass.

effects\detail_objects\grass_field\grass_field

Might be worth checking out.

Here is the GBX model and the collision model. Your going to have to make the scenery in geurilla by adding these to it.

Also you need to make a shader called "grass".

You would want to use a detail object collection like Gamma said. That would work the best, and wouldn't overload your map with scenery.

that would be cool to have grass actualy on the map instead of a flat texture.

That's why there are detail object collections, so you don't have to make a bunch of planes with a grass texture on them, and place them as scenery >_>
