Yeah, you need a devmode program, then you hit ~, which will bring up a little console in the bottom left corner. Then type "map_name [name of map]" with no quotes and no brackets. Edited by UnevenElefant5 on Mar 23, 2010 at 10:34 AM

Dennis, for some reason people cannot access the developer mode on Halo CE 1.09. Yet it puzzles the rest of us who can access it perfectly fine on 1.09 as well.
I would suspect that this person already tried doing this before, and could not get it to work.

Maybe just use a 1.07 exe and version changer. Problem solved, you can now use any app ever

'map_name' is a default console command. You don't need devmode for it.

It is usually because they don't edit the startup shortcut properly and put the command lime parameters inside the parentheses instead of outside them For 32 bit systems "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console -screenshot For 64 bit systems "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console -screenshot

Download it off this website and put it into your maps folder.

Or reinstall halo, but make sure to back up your custom maps.

You should be able to play Halo CE even without the beavercreek map. If it's telling you that beavercreek.map is the problem, then it's probably corrupted; IE, you modded it to the point of it being FUBAR. You could try redownloading it, or if you're lazy, you could just delete it from your maps folder if it's in there. Otherwise, this probably isn't Halo CE, as I don't have any of the original maps inside my maps folder.
