Okay, I am trying to make a custom piece of scenery,and I used ,tif and everything for a texture and made the right kind of material,but I get this wierd error when I am trying to compile my model and my collision-geometry with the model here is the error:

Your materials are out of sequence ie: 134256 or there is something untextured.

I changed every polygon to 1 on the model,then retextured it,and after that it still gave me a error,I unhide all faces,a couple more appeared,and then I selected,set to 1,and then retextured,and I still have a problem,also does the frame need to have a texture or what?

Maybe when you are trying to give all the faces an id of 1, the backface select is checked? Unhide all and make sure you have all faces selected, give id. In material editor, in the 1st slot, reselect multimaterial and set # of materials to 1 ( if thats possible) Drag to model. If you are using any exporter other than Blitzkreig then you need to convert to mesh before export.
If multimaterials does not work then try using standard materials (or vise versa) Edited by Maniac1000 on Mar 12, 2010 at 07:01 PM

Well, I pretty much closed 3ds max,and loaded the model un edited (it is the halo 3r street cone model)and tried everything agian,didn't get that error,but got couldn't update edge, and started deleting faces that re overlapping/double faces,and now only have a few more to go :D

first of all, in my first post guess what, I had a box called blob,just wanted to see if I could get it ingame,second post,I did the cone so yeah first it was custom now it's not :\

yeah for my second post,when I posted it was just a box. then I deleted that,and now I am using the cone and am still working on getting it ingame. I took a long break.
