how can i add a sound environment into my map so you hear a background sound. i hate playing maps with no bg sound. its actually kinda annoying that i cant figure this out and its probably very easy. lol Edited by viperfast1992 on Mar 4, 2010 at 10:56 AM

its also in the HEK tutorial...
but whatever, open your scenario in sapien. in hierarchy expand Cluster properties and then expand cluster palette. select sound environments . then in properties window give it a name and click the ..., navigate to sounds directory and choose a .sound_environment tag. put 1 as the scale and click new instance. collapse the palette and go to the next sound environment in the tree. in properties where it says NONE choose your sound environment. bring up the Tools window and move the camera to the middle of the map. hit [spacebar]. then File>save bsp, collapse Cluster properties and File>save scenario. Done.
you won't hear it until you open sapien again or go in-game.
