see i have some good ideas for maps and i know what i want in my maps. hell sitting on my desktop are some models of different maps i have made but never finished. i want to model some weapons and make them look real. if i could take a picture of my lawn and use it as a bitmap for a map or go take a picture and make it a vehicle in a map i would. if i can get someone who knows what they are doing to sit here next to me and teach me and show me i would do better. i just have a hard time learning from videos. i would like to start up a team. but i got stuk with people who stole my ideas and put them into their own maps. lol
i got that part down. i can do mods very well. its the modeling new weapons or vehicles i cant do. the tutorials dont help me. modeling maps and scenery i can do very well.
thank u slappy. but honestly, i am a noob when it comes to modeling and making maps. ive only published 2 maps. 1 flopped and it was just a mod from a halo 2 map. and the other i just published the other day. its called epic_canyon. i go and download tags i dont know how to make, like the m16 weapon. just go download and play it. u will know what i mean. lol.
thats what i was planning on doing. but i guess its not possible. but you got what ya got i guess. its halo. not something better. the game is like 10 years old. lol
ok well it was worth a try. i wanted to add a flashbang but not as a item u pick up. like throw it as a grenade whenever u need to. but if i cant i will be stuck with replacing a grenade. maybe i will replace the plasma. they arent my favorite anyways. i would have to go through the globals.globals tag to do that right
i was wondering if it was possible to make a 3rd grenade slot. like at the start of the game instead of having just frag and plasma, like having a 3rd for flash. i dont want it to be a weapon or an item that you hold on to. just another slot u can have for throwing grenades.
see i watched the hek tut but everytime i tried to do that nothing happened so i thought i was doing something wrong. i guess i wasnt.

they are on the inside wall to my base. it dosnt mess up the texture at all, i tried to fix them but it just messes up the wall. any idea how i can fix it without messing up my wall
well i got the z buffer error to go away. it was near the entrance to my underground base where the map face went through the entrance. as for the nearly coplanar error i still havnt found them but its not a big deal because it still lets me make the map. i went throung the whole level and didnt find any major problems with that so i may just leave it for now.
i am modeling my map to have underground bases with several tunnels to allow players to get to the surface. i exported my jms file and did the bitmaps. when i go to structure in tool i get this error.

ok that almost worked. i deleted the vehicles folder and extracted the vehicles from bloodgulch, when i took out the vehicles in the map from guerilla it kept asking for tags from a different vehicle that wasnt even the map. but once i deleted all the vehicles and the vehicles pallet it worked, i just need to but the vehicles back in. thanks for your help
would it be easier to delete my vehicles folder, then extract the vehicles out of bloodgulch
awww, thats a lot of vehicles to re put in, but how do i fix the physics tag.

idk, i have an acer aspire 5735z windows vista home premimum. how do i figure out what i have
ok i know how to run compatibility mode but not fix the anti alaising. how do i do that
i have had no issue before with this but my computer did an update to windows vista service pack 2. now i cant play any singleplayer maps on halo or halo ce. i cant understand y it would do this. i dont even know if its vista or my computer. when it loads a singleplayer map it sits there on the halo screen and starts to play the sound of the cutscene, it skips back and forth a lot. its upsetting cause i just wanted to play singleplayer for a while. CAN ANYONE HELP ME AT ALL!!!!!
