Did you recursively overwrite Halo PC maps, or Renamon's CE maps from Halomaps?

Halo PC works different form CE, so it wont load correctly, there fore, download Renamon's and recursive extract, and I guess you must overwrite it aswell.

It's Halo's version of a null pointer exception / index out of bounds exception.

1.) It's a biped or weapon you are using.
2.) It's an extraction issue. DO NOT EXTRACT RECURSIVELY with some maps. Extract normally and simply overwrite the tags normally. Make sure the box that says recursive is not checked.
3.) Your best bet is to try and individually extract each tag folder and sub directory.

More specifically, it's a bitmap issue. A bitmap that's being referenced is corrupted. You're gonna have to re-extract again. Re-extract all bitmaps from the Halo PC maps this time.

Re-extract all bitmaps from the Halo PC maps this time. So I only extract the bitmaps and then everything elses from Renamons version and do not extract recursively?

extract the level with Halo Tag Converter this is the link for download http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4279 later you need to extract with HEK+, the scenarios structures, and add them in the .scenario and, extract again the sounds folder, overwriting it Edited by Mangenkyo on Feb 27, 2010 at 01:17 PM

HEK+ also has this function; right click the tag, and click "Extract to", or something like that. Then, check the "Recursive" box.

Quote: --- Original message by: Kustrin 117 What the hell does the "extracting recursively" option do??? When you recursively extract a tag, you not only extract the tag but all the other tags that are needed to make it actually work right. Let's say you want to recursively extract a biped. What will happen is it'll extract the biped along with its model, animations, collision model, attachments, dialogue, etc. etc. etc. tags, and it will keep going down the hierarchy of tags that are referred to by those tags as well until there are no more tags left to extract.
