Here are some suggestions:
1.) Make it destroyable and stuff (For real, I'm not even kidding how awesome this would be!).
2.) Maybe make an open-sided variant as well.
3.) Make it damageable like in Halo3 to accompany its destructibility.
That's all I think it really needs beside some sexifying with shaders and cubemaps.

Possibilities:
Have it be able to be entered from the ground (if its on the ground) and be able to kill the pilots.
Don't give it those stupid energy columns, please.

rearange the nodes of the phantom on this website and just replace the gbx model, and you got yourself a working phantom. i would do it, but i dont have the good version, and it has alot of nodes, i just checked.

The phantom is either probably mine or someone elses, but anyway, all these phantom tags on this website are halo 2 based. Since this phantom is Halo 3 based, why would I use Halo 2 animations?
I am going to animate this myself, its not going to be THAT hard.

There is no pilot it's a scripted vehicle. The gun on the front is a vehicle with auto-gunning AI Driver seat is not even in model, no cockpit. Two mounted plasma cannons with 2 grunts gunning on (I'll be happy to provide turret if you would like to add it.
