In the actor variant tag, sorta near the top, there should be a box called like "rounds per second" I think. Hover your mouse over it and it should say "how many times we pull the trigger per second zero=continuously held down" and change that to 0.

Set it's special firing property to "overcharge", set the chance to always.

Hey Gamma, this makes the AI shoot the laser like a psycho, and sometimes the AI never shoots at the enemy. Anyway to fix it???

Even the Ai has killed an enemy, it keeps shooting anywhere at the place that AI is pointing at...

actually, i prefer this method, as i have personally tried it and it works.
i also set the burst duration to 5-6 secs and burst separation to 5-6 secs to ensure that the AI doesn't hold down the trigger even though the laser has fired and is in overheat phase, but long enough for the AI to use the laser instead of just charging then releasing the trigger prematurely.
