I need help with my shader for my biped i made.
C:\Users\Halo ce\Desktop\halo\Halo Custom Edition>tool model characters\elite Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map' ### elite_spec-ops_honor-gaurd.JMS choose a type for the shader '<none>': 1. shader_environment 2. shader_model 3. shader_transparent_generic 4. shader_transparent_chicago 5. shader_transparent_chicago_extended 6. shader_transparent_water 7. shader_transparent_glass 8. shader_transparent_meter 9. shader_transparent_plasma choice (1-9): 1 file_create('tags\<none>.shader_environment') error 0x0000007b 'The filename, di rectory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. ' couldn't create tag file 'tags\.shader_environment' failed to create new tag '.shader_environment'
failed to import model

itll be in your halo ce directory\tags
It will be called .shader_environment . just rename it or delete it.

I mean it wont create because it has invalid characters. and also i mean where did come from

Oh, crap, I just had this error, but I forgot how exactly to fix it >_> Um, try re-doing all the material on your biped, make sure each face on the biped is assigned to a valid material ID as well.
E: Oh, try this: [20:14] Elefant: oh wow [20:14] Elefant: there it goes [20:14] Elefant: i had to apply the material to my biped bones apparently
So just select everything including the biped bones and drag it onto some object. Click apply to selection, and try to re-export. Edited by UnevenElefant5 on Feb 6, 2010 at 11:12 AM
