Hmm, I don't recall seeing any asult ryfle tags here on halomaps, but I'm sure if you search around you can find some decent assault rifle tags.

Yes. It also has many other features making it fit its "asult ryfle" name.

uh guys i need halp again, this time its about the weapon_hud_interface. i just want to ask what would be the x and y anchors of the meters etc if its anchored on the bottom right. im trying to replicate the udst hud. if you post the udst hud tags that were here on hce i tried that by replacing the master_rounds.w_h_i and all of its components. pls post a very "DETAILED" fix/answer/suggestion and include the other options involving the overlays
and the motion sensor(gah...)i want to put it up the shield panel in the udst hud. its like on the forehead, thats where the motion tracker will be placed. x and y anchors? hope you can answer my problems Edited by CorpseManTS on Jan 19, 2010 at 08:31 AM

Set the anchor to bottom right, and tweak the x and y offsets until the thing looks about correct. Basically, just guess and check.

Either A. You missed the sarcasm or B. You saw it and tried to counter it with your own. If it was B, it was pretty fail.

gamma i dont know if youre aware of this, but in all of my experience with hud work, if your anchor is top left, you can use a 640x480 canvas as your total screen area and base your x y coordinates off of that canvas, where the x and y refer to the top left corner of the bitmap thats being placed.
i dont know if you knew that or not, but it made things infinitely easier for me once i found out

Yeah, don't use center anchor too much, it makes it harder to align stuff. Also if you use Photoshop or something similar, you can create the 640x480 canvas on there then just place your HUD bitmaps. Then just use the free transform tool (ctrl+t) and set it's anchor to the top left, and just use the coordinates from there into HUD interfaces. Edited by Advancebo on Jan 19, 2010 at 08:31 PM

Oh, I didn't know that. Most of my time spent with HUD elements had to do with taking existing bitmaps, and moving them around a bit until they fit what I liked. I'll try this out next time I mess with HUDs.
