I have been seeing a lot of scattard rumors of a Halo movie, I have been looking it up for AGES and still I cant find ONE FACT that I know is real.

So than I figured, Why dont I give this issue to The people who know the most about Halo,

That is where you guys come in....

Any help because I know that people are posting total BS stuff that is just collections of cutsenes from Halo 1. cuz not a lot of people know a lot about halo 1 over 2 and 3.

It wasn't entirely District 9. That was based off of a short film by the same writer. A lot of the funding for the Halo film went to District 9.

The fact I am most curious about is what game this movie is based on.
Im hopeing that the movie is based on Halo: Combat Evolved, but that seems unlikely because the movie producers say that they want the storyline to come from the book Halo: The Fall Of Reach. and one other reason why it might be baced on the Reach story is that they are waiting for that game to come out because people would want the game before the movie.

Because if the game came out first, it'd be a movie based on a game. If the movie came out first, it'd be a game based on the movie. We know how great those turn out to be.

It always was goeing to be the plotine of the fall of Reach, my bad. The whole
Combat Evolved thing was from a bad source.

The Halo movie isnt even being worked on. it has no cast no director. Halo is a great game but i doubt it will get a movie any time soon. so that trailer you posted it wasnt the halo movie, but infact was a short movie they made to inspire people for halo 3. like what they did recently with ODST they had live action. So yeah the halo Movie is not in work.
