from what i can tell sphinx, you are trying to modify a campaign map? make sure when you extract the scenario with hek plus you check "recursive". i have had issues similar to this before

I think he just “gets” something substantially more productive and positive from it than you do.

Actually since all tags placed into the public are in fact "public" and cannot be copyrighted by anyone other than Microsoft/Bungie then yes it is productive to help them.

Your animus is misplaced since you can’t have it both ways. Either you don’t release maps and tags and therefore “own” or more properly possess them or you release maps and tags for other to use and give away all rights to what other will do with them. You just can’t own this stuff so you can’t decide what other will or can do with it. If you want to “own” the tags then change the copyright laws to allow you rights to already copyrighted material. Right now you are, to use a metaphor more on your level, pissing into the wind.

i had that problem too with one of my pvt(i feel bad about using ripped cmt stuff, im sorry)ai maps. heres what i did to fix it : try ripping a new d40 scenario(the original) at ur single player maps, then what did next was editing globals to the original tagset. after that i edited my item collections to the original(again). Or, simply edit all in-game tags to the original(>.>) tagset. then try opening the scenario. tell me what happens next.
