yes it's done in Sculptris, I am planning to include next open sause with it.

One question, will the next Open Sause able to handle 27,000k or 18k?

Did you ever realise that you have to make a lower quality model then print the detail from your sculpture on it before using it in an engine ?

I did remember mootjuh was doing something like this when he was helping me with the blindwolf.

He was teaching me how to bake the model.


He also told me you have to make a low poly model in sculptris, that's all I can remember really.

Just make the low poly model the way I showed you in the tutorial in max.

You have to bake in max anyway so you may as well.

Basically your lowpoly should look like what you had at the beginning in stulptris and the head more or less like a penis

Once I am finish with the model I will make it low poly just like what you did in the tutorial.

It will be 13k for the next OS.

xD, 3ds max allows you to do low poly. Well I don't have to make a low poly on sculptris because 3ds max allows you to do that.

Thank you, the version sshers is making now was not what he made for vkmt... its definetelly an improvement over the last one though.

The second and third are tileable, and if you're looking to make complex tileable textures (without transparent pixels) then I recommend using STG Pro (Seamless Texture Generator Pro), which you can buy (and it's worth it, given lack of alternatives that I know about).


WEll, the're tilable but not really meant to be tiled. Been using ddo for textures but might check that one out.

I have grabbed orginial thorn beast texture and modified it.








Don't worry about the spikes,claws and eyes I will texture them soon once I optimized the model.

Stop stretching old/screenshotted textures over models! It looks crap and always will, make you own texture! If you make the high-res mesh right then most of the work is done for you.
