I am trying to make a map with glass and dividers between the glass. ( O|O|O|O ). I have made the .tif files in Paint Shop (most recent version), but when I try to compile them in tool, I get this error:

==> !!WARNING!! failed to open TIFF: unsupported TIFF orientation (must be top left) <==

I obviously know what it is saying, but I don't know how to fix it. Can someone help me with this?

I did make an Alpha Channel for it too.

I guess I could, but I would rather find out what causes it and how to fix it so I can do it myself in the future.

If you're afraid people are going to steal it, then put a watermark on it.

No. They took like 5 minutes to make.

That is my glass texture.

I have left the other part alone for now until I figure this out.

I have Gimp, but the tutorial I am using uses Paint Shop, albeit an older version than what is out there now. I might try saving in a different format and then converting it to a tif. I'll let you know how that goes.

PSP works fine and it should be faint once the layers are merged.

do like this:

create new 256x256 (or whatever)
fill with color (blue)
Layers>add new mask>from image>Ok (or yes, whichever it asks for)
pick a gray
Layers>Load/Save mask>save mask to alpha
Layers>Merge all/Flatten
Save As> .tiff

Sounds a lot like my tutorial. Will have to give it a try.
