I'm having a problem with Sapien. I start up Sapien, no problem, and everything comes up fine, except the Game window. I can hear the sounds, but the window is just black. Could this be caused by my new GPU? I got an NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (just for the time being, my current motherboard only has PCI), but it worked fine until I replaced my old one. Have you tried different maps with it?

Try moving around. Did you run radiosity (if needed)? Edited by chrisk123999 on Jan 1, 2010 at 10:09 PM

I've tried all of my maps, but none of them work. Moving around also does nothing. Nothing is displayed on the Game window, not even the console.

your issue seems similar to the one i had a month or so ago. apparently my graphics card had anti-aliasing on, and Halo CE doesn't support AA, so it screwed up Sapien and Halo as well.
Find your gfx card's control panel (i have an Nvidia on the comp i am using to type this message, so i know your Nvidia also does have one) and look for the option to turn off AA.
Once you do it, try opening Sapien again.

That did it! It didn't have an option to turn it off, so I just set it to "Application Controlled", opened up Sapien and it worked. Thanks.
