When I type help objects_attach in the console it says: ( objects_attach object string object string) what's the string

(objects_attach [object] [string] [object] [string])
"attaches the second object to the first;
both strings can be empty"

string is a marker on the object, so like:
(objects_attach master_chief "right hand cyborg" assaultrifle1 "primary trigger")
This will make an assault rifle attach it's "primary trigger" marker to the "right hand cyborg" marker on a cyborg biped.
Obviously you can change the marker and object.

its worth mentioning that assaultrifle1 would be a predefined instance of an assault rifle in sapien. its not just any old assault rifle attaching to the hand

Yes, same with the biped.
You have to name both the objects for it to work.
