Actually I'm pretty sure they didn't considering they have a fully functioning multiplayer mode as well, which is something Game Maker can't do iirc.

Only the "Lite" version of Game Maker 7 can not use online multiplayer functions but the pro version can; And from some of the games I've played, people can make amazing multiplayer games.

.... ok so in your mind game maker is a crappy tool, but when somebody praises it for making amazing multiplayer games they have made a win post?
do you share your account with somebody?

No, all he did was correct me on a mistake I made.
Either way, it turned out really great, so why does it matter what programs were used to make it?
Would you rather have a crappy version filled with bugs programmed from scratch, or a nice, bug free version made with game maker?

you could program something from scratch, but the question to ask is WHY? i cant think of ANYTHING gamemaker cannot do. it supports multiplayer, everything can be driven by text based script if you so desire, it has sprite tile support, a build in graphics editor and manipulator, and you can use even use .dlls with it. why would you build anything from scratch when you have the power to do literally anything you want with it. its like building your own car when they are giving free cars away 50 feet away from you

And if you ever wanted to start making 3D games, well.. Unreal Dev elopement Kit is out there for free download.

I have to admit though, Game Maker seems to be fantastic for sprite-based games.

Considering the fact that on the forums they talk about it frequently, I'm assuming they're definitely going to work on it at the very least.

Oh, and the character customization and inaccessible "Multiplayer" options in the demo.

It looks to be pretty promising.

I've seen quite a few amazing 3D games with game maker too. In fact, DGZK > all, and that is being made with game maker

This game is a very good 2D representation of Halo but it will NEVER be better than any 3D Halo game made yet. None-the-less it's a great game. I played the demo along time ago and it had a pre-build of their Forge mode and it's great. You can even add AI. I'm sure if Microsoft made a 2D version of Halo chances are it wouldn't be as good as this one.

Halo Zero is way worst than this game.

Strange, when somebody else posted this, except with a download link, the people liked it.

Probably because of forge and better graphics with dual-wielding and that you can spawn AI in forge. Still alotta problems though.

But this is ten times better than Halo Zero.

It's an old school way of gaming but to be on topic this game is no match for Halo Custom Edition.

CE is worn out and stale.

I uninstalled it from my laptop a few days ago.

At least this is something new and fresh and not a decade old. ;)
