It was worth it.

I'm looking for a health system many people will like.

I'm pretty much choosing from these:
-H1 health system - Health is divided into two: shields and health. Shields regen, health doesn't. Shields go first then health takes damage. Shields take more damage from energy weapons, health takes more damage from lead or anything that doesn't use energy.

-H2/3 health system - we all know that, as of now, this is impossible in CE. Some have made attempts I guess, but they aren't too good. I just don't want anybody saying "MAKE THE HEALTH REGENARATE LIEK IN H3"

-Regen system - You usually have a small amount of health, but your health regenerates slowly when you aren't under fire. Like in Gears or CoD.

-Traditional FPS health system - you have 100 health/hit points.

-Tactical shooter health system - This is one that I like. It's pretty much the same as above, except you don't need 100 in numerals since one shot'll take a fourth to a half of your health. It's realistic.

Any suggestions? Any other health concept you'd like to add?

The Call of Duty one seems a lot like the tactical shooter one on higher difficulties. Either way, I vote for this one :>

Well, if I could get a shield bar that makes your screen red when you take damage, I'd put it in. I'm sick and tired of having to find health packs.

Come to think of it, H3 without shields would be like the same system.

But halo was mainly designed for fast-paced, usually close-quarters battles with people jumping around and spamming you with bullets from dual-wielded SMGs. The AI would even probably(and likely) rush you and kill you with a hot burning bolt of plasma before you could react.

That's the problem with that sort of health system(if you implement it in Halo), but hey, I like it nonetheless. And does anything remind you of Team SWAT?

Those are my/the problems with those damage/health systems.

I would vote for Halo 1, but I would like to see one with the Black Eye's Skull. Where you have shields, but they will not regenerate until you melee something.

Increase the initial amount of health, and decrease the amount of damage plasma does to flesh.

That's the point :D ... for MP it speeds up the gameplay and makes things more dangerous and forces you to use cover and time your attacks...but then again i come from a mod clan where K/D of 200/50 is average and picking up power weapons is time wasted.

I think a health system that lets you escape with more than 3 rounds in you is being too generous.

Somebody reply on my other thread so I can put in the tactical regen system, unless somebody else recommends another health system.

I like regen, followed by Halo. If you carry out traditional like Half-Life 2, it's also excellent.

CorruptedHalo, you were correct before you edited your post. Now you look uneducated.

Halo is also an object that should be placed upon a holy person's head.
However, a Halo supposedly floats above ones head rather than being placed upon it.
Or, Halo is an acronym for a style of jumping from a flying object. I shall leave this definition to crazy teenagers which are an abundant species in this area.

No, I'm merely quoting Master Chief.

The Master Chief is a violent patriotic idiot with necrophilia. Do you really want to quote someone like that?

H1 is the best working system in a Halo game. That's why they put it in ODST, and why they're bringing it back for Reach.
