Unwalkable surface? (ie cliff)?

That is what I would think...

MC "slides" down anything over 45 degrees.
I dont know if that angle would decrease on an ice material.

I found a way! but it is long to do. You put teleporters on the slide like you do for a surf map. I did it and it works.

Are you guys sure? I'm not really a super-expierenced map maker, but I have noticed, for example, by the sniper point on blood gulch. There is an area where you can *slide down.* I have also seen that some over 45 degree faces are walkable. I am pretty sure that the entire *unwalkable surface* is determined by something other then the face itself. There must be some kind of id or something.

GL figuring it out!

I read the 45 degrees thing somewhere, im sure its correct.
I can only think that maybe you are thinking of a situation like when there is a square or rectangle face (quad), that quad is made of 2 triangles, (assume the quad is facing straight up, that means it is "planer on the z axis") if you move a vert up or down, then the quad will no longer be a precise flat surface, so its no longer "planer".
So you now have 1 quad which is made of 2 triangles which are on different angles. If you smooth the quad, it will look planer, but there can be a slight crease in the geometry.
I could be completely wrong about some of that :0 but im sure mc cannot walk up 45 degrees, the angle needed to slide may be a little more than that.
