Well, it doesn't drain from right to left like how i wanted to make it. If you're asking if it's based upon what you think it's based upon, it is. The top is the bitmap, the bottom is the alpha. The rightmost bullet is(on a grayscale image in photoshop, according to the color chooser on the right) 21%, increasing by 1%(higher is darker) as it goes to the left, until it reaches 80%. Yes, i alpha'd it by hand. Here's the results. Full: Half: 10 bullets left: Empty... well, almost: Any help?

I guess you shouldn't alpha the gradient by hand? Try using the gradient tool for reference.

do not make each bar have a gradient, but every bar a different shade ;)
also, an alpha image does not have to be like the diffuse, you can just draw over the lines of the diffuse, because in the alpha you have to to fix those half dissappeared lines.

|black||black||whiter||blacker||whiter|
and so and so. That's how it looks like to me. ...no, it's just right. Pretty much, it's just you.

Did you compile the bitmap correctly? Is the alpha multiplier "4"?

I fixed it by watching the ghosts tut on making ammo meters. I made one before and it worked fine. I just followed that tut to the T. They are not both alpha's, the top one is the meter, and the bottom is the alpha. the in-game picture shows how it works. Edited by tucker412 on Nov 1, 2009 at 07:18 PM Ahhh, whoops. Didnt see that. Im pretty sure that you start at black, solid black, then too solid white.
