The first Halo maps are the ones that came with Halo Xbox.
The true first CE map is Tutorial, by Bungie. The first custom CE map is Blood Islands. |

As far as I remember, Dennis one day was looking for a map called Blood Islands. He eventually found it, and decided there should be a place to host ce maps, so he made this site. I'm positive Blood Islands, and Night Camp CE were the first maps on Halomaps. |

You can sort the map list by date, title , sixe, user rating or views/downloads. Just click on the title link in the list to change the sort. The default is by date/newest first. CLick the date tile to see the oldest first.
