Why not just move-on to another source content game until it IS done instead of waiting for something that will probably not release until after you get tired and quit anyway?

just an idea CMT, if you are releasing MP maps as well, you should make a Halo CE pack, let me show you, if you did, people would Download Custom Edition, and SPV2 and your Multiplayer maps already come installed, wouldn't that be awesome?

Every auto-update and web based application for Halo CE that has been created was no longer working 2-6 months affter it was released. When the CMT maps are ready Halo Maps has committed to offer multiple ways for people to download them. We wil not offer map packs in the file archive but may offer them as a bit-torrent for the first couple of months the maps are made available.

When the hell has a map been on work for 4 Years? You do realize that it's not just one map, right? It's an entire campaign. Your realize it took Bungie 3 years to make Halo 2? You realize Bungie is a professional game studio backed by one of the biggest computer companys on earth. They had large amounts of time to work on their games because unlike most of the mappers here, creating game content is what they do to make a living. They had much MUCH better resources than most here do. Plus, it took 3 years because that's how long Microsoft game them to complete it. They ended up having to cut a lot of things, including full levels, because they simply weren't finished in time. In fact, if Bungie had had their way in the first place, halo 3 wouldn't even exist. Halo 2 was originally supposed to be the conclusion to the series, but as stated before, due to Bicrosoft's deadlines whole levels had to be cut which eventually left halo 2 at a cliffhanger. Lol, did you know it took your mom 85 tries to get your X and Y chromosomes to have you, then it took 6 months to have you, and it will take another 25 years for your brain to mature? Bungie is a company. CMT is bunch of teens having fun. hth.

No. Downloading pirated software is illegal, and bit torrents happen to be a popular method of distributing those files, so while downloading pirated software through bit torrents is illegal, bit torrents themselves are not illegal.

sorry, its hard to not flame stupidity of this caliber. ready for me to show you why you should find some duct tape? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent_(protocol) Quote: BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used for distributing large amounts of data. BitTorrent is one of the most common protocols for transferring large files, and it has been estimated that it accounts for approximately 27-55% of all Internet traffic (depending on geographical location) as of February 2009 Quote: BitTorrent protocol allows users to distribute large amounts of data without putting the level of strain on their computers that would be needed for standard Internet hosting. A standard host's servers can easily be brought to a halt if extreme levels of simultaneous data flow are reached. The protocol works as an alternative data distribution method that makes even small computers with low bandwidth capable of participating in large data transfers. OK now ready for this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_issues_with_BitTorrent Quote: BitTorrent trackers have been subjected to raids and shutdowns due to claims of copyright infringement. BitTorrent metafiles do not store copyrighted data, so it has been claimed that BitTorrent trackers, which only store and track the metafiles, must therefore be legal even if sharing the data in question would be considered a violation of copyright. ISPs dont make copyright laws. fun story: iv got a friend who uses bittorrents for everything, legal and illegal. one day his ISP called him up and said "man you use a huge amount of bandwidth, the hell are you doing? illegal downloading?" he said yes, and they hooked him up with higher bandwidth connection. so yeah vern ill give you that alot of it comes down to what the ISP allows. just dont say that bittorrents for legitimate things are illegal, because clearly they are not.
