That's a lot. I haven't seen you release just 1. So, before you criticize, make one map, try to make it on par with CMT's content. Then, when you fail (because you will) you will realized why it's taking so long.

Why not just move-on to another source content game until it IS done instead of waiting for something that will probably not release until after you get tired and quit anyway?

And some multiplayer maps, too! We've gotten a lot done. The rub is, of course, everything needs to be finished before we can really release anything.

Cause some of us only like this game and dont realy want to move to a diffrent game community.

i just play on the other 2000+ maps there are on this site. i download like one a day. so i dont get bored of waiting.

That's right, I completely forgot about the mpv2 and 3 maps.

just an idea CMT, if you are releasing MP maps as well, you should make a Halo CE pack, let me show you, if you did, people would Download Custom Edition, and SPV2 and your Multiplayer maps already come installed, wouldn't that be awesome?

I have seen one with 2 other MP maps, but even that so, explain the default maps then!

No support. Every auto-update and web based application for Halo CE that has been created was no longer working 2-6 months affter it was released.

When the CMT maps are ready Halo Maps has committed to offer multiple ways for people to download them. We wil not offer map packs in the file archive but may offer them as a bit-torrent for the first couple of months the maps are made available.

You realize Bungie is a professional game studio backed by one of the biggest computer companys on earth. They had large amounts of time to work on their games because unlike most of the mappers here, creating game content is what they do to make a living. They had much MUCH better resources than most here do. Plus, it took 3 years because that's how long Microsoft game them to complete it. They ended up having to cut a lot of things, including full levels, because they simply weren't finished in time. In fact, if Bungie had had their way in the first place, halo 3 wouldn't even exist. Halo 2 was originally supposed to be the conclusion to the series, but as stated before, due to Bicrosoft's deadlines whole levels had to be cut which eventually left halo 2 at a cliffhanger.

ISPs dont make copyright laws.
fun story: iv got a friend who uses bittorrents for everything, legal and illegal. one day his ISP called him up and said "man you use a huge amount of bandwidth, the hell are you doing? illegal downloading?"
he said yes, and they hooked him up with higher bandwidth connection. so yeah vern ill give you that alot of it comes down to what the ISP allows. just dont say that bittorrents for legitimate things are illegal, because clearly they are not.
