thats old, that was before we had something to make, but yes it needs DESIGNED
yeah its already been designed, but, obviously, we can't just take it from Halo 3, we have to reDESIGN it to make it work in Halo CE

Actully, to have a good team, you don't need really any members more then like, 5 or 7 at the most. It's a about the quality, not quantity. Same goes with your work.

Seeing that this is supposed to be about valhalla, let's get back on subject. Is there anything that anyone does like about this map? I personally like the mancannon except for one thing. You have to jump over the plunger (Lacking a better word) and touch the back of it for it to shoot you. and at that point it is possible you would get sniped. However, i have yet to see a better man cannon in any other map that i have.

Start by getting a better visor outline. Work on the bitmaps first, then the models. Usually you can get good graphics with good textures and adequate models, although you'll have to work on the models eventually. Look at Halo 2, it's mainly model>texture, with better lighting for that matter.

Please Rename your map R.C's_Valhalla , so that when the people who are better at making maps produce one , they'll be able to name it Valhalla. Either way , you win , because , if it turns out awesome , everyone will say , lets go play R.C's valhalla , or if it turns out bad , and another better valhalla is made , they can use the name instead.

the map is still beta, although the map itself (model and textures) will not be changed, maybe after me and slash finish the map we are working on, we will start a valhalla, I mean a CUSTOM valhalla, not just another remake

I actually like the BSP it has potential, but needs some serious smoothing in some areas. I'm still in the process of making better shaders, but for now i'm just editing the layout of the scenery, and since sound has a big role in my gameplay, i'm adding more appropriate ambient sounds. Ya. More of a smoothing and maybe making some of the grass areas that are too steep to walk up into cliffs. There are a couple areas like this but overall the gameplay is really quite interesting.
The back of the bases you have to crouch to get out so maybe make that part of the ceiling a bit higher or depress the floor until you get out more.
