i'm not exactly sure what your saying about the exporter, because there's a whole list of steps after that before you get to halo. but this might help with adding the scope: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3035

excatcly thats what i tried but it just stood go to geurilla open $$$weapons$$$ change zoom
or somthing like that but that tut does not help.

Yes, but did you do it right? Scroll down from the plasma pistol weapon tag and get to zoom where it is between reticle(above zoom) and aim assist(below zoom). Then you start changing the values,
For example, if you want the weapon to have only 1 zoom, you change magnification levels to 1 (like pistol, you zoom once), for 2 magnification levels, change the value to 2(like sniper, you zoom twice).
Now for the magnification range, you would enter the distance it will zoom. For one zoom(like pistol) you would just put down a number you like in BOTH of the magnification range values(the pistol uses 2 and 2). For 2 zoom levels(like sniper), you would put a lower number first at the left side, then a higher number at the right side(The sniper uses 2 for first zoom, then 8 for second zoom)
Now compile your map and then test ingame to see if it zooms NOTE: the weapon may zoom without a scope mask like a pistol or sniper (the blurry circle scope or the blurry screen when zoomed). To have "scope masks" like the pistol and sniper, you would have to edit the weapon_hud_interfaces tag.
