hey guys, I just wanted to know a few things about Headlong PB2

1: were the weapons ripped? all the weapons looks EXACTLY like in Halo 2! Yes but see 7 for truth

2: BSP's ripped? Most of them

3: Vehicles ripped? No

4: who made it? kenney001

5: did they make any other maps? Yes and No, HE made the duel weilding tags and a Halo 2 Elite tag, but no other map, he also hasn't been see in over a year

6: is it protected? YES IT IS

7: Were the Animations ripped? No

If the content is ripped wouldn't it be obvious it is from Halo 2?

You can search the authors name and it will give you his other work.

When I saw the progress thread ages ago it was focused alot on weapons. I really think he did most of them by himself, and small stuff like the teeter totter scenery piece.

weird, the weapons looked EXACTLY like in Halo 3, in Halo 2, all the weapons had a somewhat shine except the shotgun, this is the ONLY map where ALL of the weapons had that perfect shine

Zteams BR was ALMOST perfect, they got the shine, but they had a heavy glare on the ammo counter, I checked, in Halo 2, they do not

I just played the map. Vehicles, I don't think are ripped. The shaders for the ghost don't really look h2-ish, and the scorpion was just a reskin. For weapons, it's all based on the shaders. The models could be ripped, but the shaders are what makes you think it's ripped. It's not that hard to create shaders that make weapons look ripped. And just because the Zteam BR has a glare on the ammo counter doesn't mean that it's not perfect. The scope shader on the BR in headlong isn't very close to Halo 2's, but I don't see you complaining about that.

After reading so many dumb posts from one person you start to hate them, that's what's happening with MasterRyan. Bumping, posting nonsense, and asking dumb questions become frustrating. Why I couldn't tell ya but this forum is guilty of tearing up new members for all of those offenses.

And its not that anyone is a moron, the Halomaps forum is a community and when new people come to it and don't put anything thought provoking or useful up in threads the community get frustrated. Out of habit I imagine every one of us clicks on new threads just to see if there is anything exciting to see or any input we can add. When you see silly/noobish post constantly from the same person it becomes irritating and it hard to resist not saying something.
