umm... im new to halo ce... how do i add weapons to maps?... i have a weapon tag i just dont know what to do with it. can someone tell me what to do with it?

you need HEK if you don't already have it.
next, you'll need a .scenario file (a map but not a .map file) to add the weapons to. you may have to create one or extract an existing one. the link johnson gave you has instructions and links on how to do both. then it's a "simple" matter of extracting the weapon tags to the tags folder and using sapien to add them to the map. |

Get the Halo Editing Kit Plus, open up a map, drag all the folders you see onto the extraction cue. Then, press start.

I asked why because you never specifically stated your problem. And HEK shouldn't be related to this, but just to check, uninstall HEK, and see what happens.
