I noticed cmt seems to do the most releasing and cmt snow grove seems to be really popular.
I was wondering who makes cmt releases. I just dont get how you can get from the stage that im at to the stage they are at...

CMT is a mapping team called "Custom Mapping Team". The reason why they're so popular is because they make custom stuff, and have redone every single weapon. I don't know if you'll ever get to their level, but hard work pays off eventually. Just keep practicing, get good ideas, and you'll get somewhere. CMT is an entire team of people, and you are but one, so you shouldn't feel disappointed if you don't get to that level.

Thank you for the reply.I agree i dont believe ill ever reach a level like that but maybe ill come up with something cool once i learn, if i learn that is the tutorials are good but i feel i need help with the tutorials most of the time, so i dunno lol.Do you by chance have any other good resources youd be willing to tell me other then this site?Im not the smartest dude ever but i have good ideas and im willing to put the time in.

It depends on what kind of skill you have. Do you prefer 3d modeling, animating, or scripting?

I prefer actually designing the map or weapons, so modeling but hell id like to learn anything i can.

Learning modeling, animating, and scripting can be good, but it's best to learn to be good in one thing. That way, you can focus your talents.

Try everything at first so you can see what you like most, then focus your talents on the thin you enjoy the most.

Thats a terrible idea and won't get you anywhere. Its best to learn everything you can so you can do the most without relying on other people.

Once you're good at one thing, it becomes easier to be better at something else. My fail attempts at modeling taught me some things, like how to link objects. That came in handy when I began to learn to animate.

cmt is a survivor of the unknown Russian underworld war. when he was a young boy a hole to the underworld opened causing demons and what not to flood out in response Russia summoned its army to fight it back. At the age of 15 a demon squad destroyed cmt's village of thrwagwiggly.
CMT was the only survivor. the nearest town was 200 miles away so he grabbed a rifle and set off. cmt was good with a rifle and was able to kill 5 demons with 1 bullet. wehn he reached the nearby town of sargargifflieliaminakocik he was presented with the highest military award possible and became a sniper for the Russian army. by the end of the war he had killed more than 200000 demons in the final showdown he defeated the devil himself. this shocked Russia and he was exiled to America aka the us and a. when he got there he became a hot dog / hat vendor and is currently on the run from authorities.
