Well I was thinking about the times when halo was erm... fun? No I mean like a classic it felt awsome and fun. Like having no worries and just playing your @$$ off.

I remember the times when people used to play maps like rainbow road or sme beta v11.

When there was just playing for fun and that was it.

Well that's the best thing I remembered about the past.

Rainbow Road is a fairly recent map.

There are hundreds of threads that say the same thing as yours. Go post on those and stop cluttering Dennis' database with more pointless topics.

Also, it's partly everybody's fault if the only maps beeing played are always ''more of the same''.

People try to have as many users as possible in their servers so they stick with classics so that there's no worry getting hundreads of map. There's also the fact alot of recent maps are pretty but not fun to play... or not intriguing to explore.

I know this is not about scott . joshflighter is correct. SCOTT you are very pessimistic in your response to more than 80% of the threads your involved in. User's like you deviate the topic's and help loose the point to all questions that were originaly asked.

On topic: Halo CE is a dying game like everything else. look at killzone for ps2 not that many people killzone 2 is full. once somthing new comes out people want the next best thing. unfortantley for halo its died 3 times now

I have an idea of how to make the experience more enjoyable although in general the community would have to accept it

What we need is to get the pirates to download maps and upgrade to 1.08.

Not really. Learn to play the game.. The lag's an issue, but it dosen't bring down the quality of how fun something is in CE or the quality of how good a map is. It's still an opinion, but if you actually try to lead and play, then there really isn't an issue with lag at all.

No, it does lag. And I know how to play, it's just not fun. When I go in a game I want to shoot someone in the head and have them die. Not shoot 6 feet infront of them while attempting to kill them. The maps are fun, (most) the game sucks.

It's not lag, it's called leading. There's other games that do it too, and how much lead you have depends on your ping. That's why theres host advantage if your hosting a game.
I also play this game. Everyday almost. With about 4 other friends, and we always have alot of fun. It's your opinion that you don't like it, but its not a fact, becuase I know tons of people who enjoy it.

It is very possible to enjoy something that is not good.

Still, your just being ignorant and ironic now. Your stating that its not good when that isn't even a fact-at all, and that you actually are playing the game and being a community member of the game then saying it isn't good at all. If you don't like it, get out.

seriously, go look at all the versions and you get up to about 1,500 for CE players.

Ever since the game was released, people have left, and people have came. It's endless cycle, and you should get use to it.

Yeah thats what the point is its an epic game just a tiny community. heck most ppl on halo pc dont even know what CE is and if they do get it they delte it right away not knowing What the custom stands for thinking whats the diffrance between this and the regular.

Actually, what doesn't appeal to them is the lack of the Campaign button.
