Posted: Sep 23, 2009 04:22 PM Msg. 1 of 26 Hey guys, you remember the HUD I had made? well, the thread died, if you don't remember, take a look: http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=newtopic&forumID=4 anyway, RedPlague and his epic PhotoShopping skills was able to produce this: I know, epic....... anyway, Tucker was working on the tags, but for some reason, he won't respond to me, so I need someone to turn these into Tags and get them into ANY map. I already have 2 people awaiting these tags for there maps and I really need them, once they are ingame they will be available to the public. by the way, you can get rid of the visor gray part at the bottom PM me if you can thank you to whoever can do this, thanks! I see a roughly thrown together HUD based of all basic photoshop skills, but no epic ones to be found... nor even decent ones. Really.. dont just toss photoshop outerglow on boxes you made, nad like 2 gardent and thing its good.. infact, it looks bad. It needs a solid structure; some basis behind it, not just "im A.D.D. so ill spend 5 seconds on something!"

Thats the big issue, we need to find this epic HUD, from there, we can decide weather we want to tag it or not.

He does not have epic photoshop skills.. all he has done is make basic shapes and added a gradient overlay, outerglow, stroke and maybe some other stuff... looks crap. So boring and cheap. Design also looks nasty.

Geared Joined: Mar 6, 2009 EPI Creator	Posted: Sep 24, 2009 10:03 AM Msg. 19 of 26 look i made it cause he asked for it, he liked it so thats good enough, i do have good PS skills: everything from scratch except for the crossed guns behind skull, all other done by hand in PS, so i think i got decent PS skills....anyways if so desired ill remake the hud....just not now cause im waiting on new 1kw powerspply cause old one's power socket got wrecked by cousin. Posted: Sep 24, 2009 11:14 AM Msg. 22 of 26 BTW if you didn't figure it out yet Geared=RedPlague and Geared, improving it really wouldn't be necessary for me, besides maybe revamping the ammo bar to look more like CMT Snow Groves, having Weapon Icons instead of the names, and maybe removing the visor thing at the bottom, but other than that, I LOVE the glowy effects, the health and Radar look AMAZING, and the cool name thing is SWEET

It just boggles the mind at the amount of hubris and how little self-restraint some people have. If someone makes a request and you don�t want to do it then just leave the thread and go on. There is absolutely no reason to make fun of, insult or otherwise harass the requester. Just ignore the request and move on. And those who think they are offering criticism need about 8 more years of schooling before they even begin to understand the actual meaning of the word in a social context.
