Hey, I've recently compiled a map and it gets these ugly lightmap errors. They get worse the higher quality lightmaps I have too. I was just wondering what causes stuff like this and how to fix/avoid it in the future: thanks :)

I'd import the lightmap in max through aether and fix it by hand in photoshop, other than placing lights it'd be the easiest way.
not that i ever got lightmap errors, im pretty curious why you got those spots...
maybe the faces are flipped and the texture is double sided? if its double sided you wont notice whats flipped and whatnot, try it in max to see what i mean, idk if that would influence lightmaps in halo but its worth the try.
