berky93 Joined: Sep 17, 2009	Posted: Sep 17, 2009 06:22 PM Msg. 1 of 10 I just installed halo CE so I could create my own maps. I have all of the software needed but don't have HEK installed. So I downloaded HEK and tried to install it. But whenever i do it says that halo CE cant be found. is there a way to fix this? I thought it might have been because I installed it to C:\program files instead of C:\program files\microsoft games, but I tried putting it there with no luck.

You won't need your CD. You will have to do a manual update. Go to your halo dir, "C:\program filz\miczrossoft\haloz cez" and load haloupdatz.exe. It should update for you.. you do need a LEGIT LEGAL CD KEY that you got when YOU PURCHASED halo.
