So i am working on a mod... I would like to make a little boombox that can be turned on and off.
Is it possible to make a device_machine with the model of a boom box that emits sound when turned on, and does not when off?

You could make a device control a boombox, and play a sound looping via scripts when turned on, and stop playing when turned off. The only problem is, the sound won't come out of the boombox.

It's possible to set up the device machine to emmit sound from a marker when a function is turned on and not when it's turned off. Use a device control to script it to change positions. (device_set_position_emediate boombox 1) -something like that. You can also script sound to emmit from a certain opbject. With the "automatic activation radius", you can also set the boombox to turn on automaticly when people get close to it.

Thats also the model im using for the radio i have now... Right now it just jumps around sound permutations playing songs I compiled.

This won't sync in multiplayer, BTW.
