okay 1) we already said about using more strategic enemy placement.
2) theres nothing wrong with the drop pod and it's possible that dropships might be added.

Point is if theses suggestions are followed I think the final version will be good.

i might be able to add in dropships, but i cant do it alone, i dont known how to use the recorded animations, and the map is small anyway. is there another way enemies can appear that would look cool?

Ok that's my point have you tried thinking of more ways to have AI appear? Try thinking a little harder and you may come up with something. Having AI appear in one place is boring try making it a little bit different like enemies appear from the sides and your actually supposed to be positioned at the middle of the map. That way it is more interesting and challenging.

I just came up with this idea,don't know if it would be possible or not, but you could have a turret in the middle of the map, with some ODST AI marines on your side, and there are 4 seats in the turret/vehicle, and then they are each pointing a different way, and you have to defend yourselves, and the turret,so the enemies come in from the side, and you shoot them down with the turret... Is that possible?

i thought it would be a cool idea if elites could drop out of the sky in a coffin pod, make the pod a vehicle and when it lands force the elite out, i know its possible, but is there one released yet?

yeah I know right that hud has so much potential. I was even thinking that someone could make it just like firefight in ODST were you would have the skull icons on the side and then they would light up when the skulls active and someone could make it so that when like catch was on the AI would actually start throwing grenades like crazy.

yeah shadowslayer just wondering if you have onotixs ODST biped there the ones used in mudslide skirmish and they look really good someone posted a download links in the forum just lettin ya know if your lookin for a good ODST biped.

Put his skin on the ODST thats rigged like a Spartan. Playing as an ODST rigged like a marine is bad.

Not really. Just remove the pain animation, and add in all the weapons. In fact, I might have a modified marine animation lying around somewhere.

I usually just stay in the base and kill them as they come in through the door it usually works pretty well.

Ya lolz Onotux change that, I mean I guess aliens are skilled but not THAT skilled lol. Also sargent Johnson as a back up for the harder levels maybe? Like maybe he has infinite health so he doesn't die.

I found Mudslide skirmish quite easy.....

Lol I can't really tell since I can't go onto my computer until a Saturday. Though I find rio-firefight quite hard. Although not realistically hard. And I bet noobs wouldn't stand a chance on beating it.

Sort out the spelling mistakes and it'll be alright. Such as 'aerial wave' being 'ariel wave'

its time for some much needed updates:

not much left to do now, the hard parts are finished up. i made some pics for you guys as well as a to do list before the final



as you can see, ive updated the hud and gave it onotix's awesome fp hands.



also i added marine reinforcements

to do list:

give marines firing positions
turn all reticles orange
turn ammo meters orange
finish all 20 waves
try to find better guns
anything else you guys think is necessary

ill update more often now that i am starting work on this again

Why do people keep thinking the FP arms are onotix's? They're the ripped Call of Duty 4 FP, with SAS bitmaps, which were given to him by someone.

-HUD.
-Improve on gameplay. That's one major issue I've seen in all your betas so far.
-Weapon selection. I agree with Buggy Virus.
