I was just wondering if it is possible to give marines energy shields like the Master Chief. If it is how would I do it?

In other words, thats his armor.Notice on regular marine tags that their "shield" is set when you rip them from a campaign map. Edited by FtDSpartn on Aug 9, 2009 at 02:27 AM

You mean you want the shield effect that surrounds the cyborg when it's hit?
Open the cyborg biped tag. Copy the modifier shader (below animations, model, collision and physics) into the marine biped tag.
Copy the "export to functions" to the marine tag.
Copy the "functions" to the marine tag.
That should work, not entirely sure though.

The trick worked to get the energy shields for the marines, just 2 problems.
1. The shields are continuously showing (doesn't disappear) 2. When the marines still have shields, they still do the being hit animations.

For the second, having shields doesn't mean they won't play that animation. Either specify a new animation for being hit, or reanimate the marine.

The first one would be incorrect functions. I think it would be because of the flashlight, which already takes up one of the functions.

You need to put the shield vitality in the collision tag also.
