Im probably going to get into map making, despite how difficult it seems. But umm...any tips? Is there a friends list or is it all random matchmaking? Also, is there an ingame voice chat? If not, you guys can add me on Skype. Email:SlayersBane@live.com. My plan is to start up the game, test out the matchmaking, download Custom edition, test it out, come here to download maps, then learn how to make maps. Sound good?

There isn't really a friends list in the game, but yes, there is random matchmaking. There is no ingame voice chat. Usually people use Skype, Xfire, or Vent. That sounds like a good idea.

No there is not. You can only pick from a list of servers to play on.

Its not random, you choose what server you want to join. Each server could have different amount of players, different rules, different gametypes, and different maps.

The part in italics did not make much sense. There is not in-game voice chat; you must type out messages. You can use a 3rd party program to chat using voice, such as xfire, vent, teamspeak, etc. Xfire has the capability to be used while in game, by pressing an assigned button (usually scroll-lock-x), which brings up an overlay that has the xfire interface.
