Add them in normally. The non-MP warthog is slightly faster, so it isn't very different. The non-MP ghost is destructible, as is the banshee. Those do not sync, and when they respawn, they respawn dead, unless a script is used.

Make sure you add them to your globals tag unless you plan to script them in.
Default vehicles in the globals tag: 1) mp_warthog 2) ghost_mp 3) scorpion_mp 4) banshee_mp 5) c_gun_turret_mp 6) rwarthog

Hi Gamma927! I am trying to use a vehicle tag that I downloaded from halomaps.org it is the stinger. It had some errors but I corrected them. I went into my globals and changed one of the six vehicles types to the stinger. I thought that would allow me to use the stinger in my map, but it did not. It shows up fine in sapien but when I compile my map file it is not there. What Am I doing wrong? And thank you very much for responding to my question. Never mind, I was just being stupid. And thank you very much for responding to my question. krispy1001  You must have not checked "slayer allowed", "slayer default", "ctf allowed", "ctf default", etc under the vehicle in sapien. I would check that first.

I do have one more question! How do I apply textures to an model that I import using gbxmodel_importer_v2-0-0? I am using Gmax. It will not allow me to apply a UVW map.

Why will it not let you apply a UVW map? Im going to look into it right now. I'll edit my post if I find anything.
edit: I tried it, and had no problem applying a UVW map. What exactly is it saying/happening? What steps are you taking to apply the UVW map from importing your model? Edited by goyanks135 on Jul 11, 2009 at 12:35 AM

It is a base that I made as a tag. And I wanted to use it in a new map that I am working on, but I did not want to have to completly remodel it. So I ran the gbxmodel_importer_v2-0-0 script to import it into my Gmax map. when I importer it I used the following settings: Import UVW Coardinates and MatID's and setup 3ds material library shaders I uncheckeked. Every thing else I left default. I did this becuase the last time I did not uncheck them and they messed up my matID's that were allready setup for my map. And the would not allow me to change the texture or UVW mapping. It had something to do with a skin. I then importer the item. Next I converted it to a editable mesh and Highlited the hole thing cleared the old materail ID's and I reset the faces to the new matiID's. Then I applied my new textures to the item. Last I applied the UVW map. It did not give me an error, it did nothing at all. No texture no nothing, it just remained white. What do you think I did wrong. Thanks, Goyanks135

What I can say right now, did you check "show map in viewport" when in the material editor for each material? I'll look more into it in the morning.
