Hey again.
For some odd reason, my HEKPlus always freezes when i try to open up one of the menus (e.g file). It keeps on making lines around it and in task manager, it says not responding.
I'm using vista if that helps.

Find, or create a shortcut to HEK+. Right click that. Click Properties. Select the Compatibility tab. Check "disable desktop composition". Click OK.

check your task manager. does it show that a process called dwm.exe running?
if so, right-click the process and select "End Process Tree" select "Yes" if it shows a confirmation dialog box. if it reappears, do the above steps again until it is ended. If yr desktop flashes or whatever, it is normal.
then, try to run HEK+ again. i did this before, and HEK+ worked. i suspect that dwm.exe has something to do with the rendering of HEK+'s opening windows.
