Whenever i try to open my bitmaps in guerilla it says something like "You need to set up your working directory".

What is this and how do i fix it?

I'm pretty sure this means you need your bitmaps in your tag folder, no where else.

Ye can just move 'em, I think. Just move a single folder of 'em, and see if that works. If it doesn't, it's not worth the time of movin' 'em all and I'm right.

Only uncompiled things go in the data folder. If the "bitmaps" are still in TIF format, you must convert them before you can open them. Once done converting, the respective bitmap will appear in the tags folder.

This is the truth.

This error is only when you try to access things outside of the tags folder. If you move guerilla up into above folders I think it can access more though.

Yes. The TIF files must be in the data folder first, though, and they will appear in the same folders, but in the tags folder. So if the TIF file was inside

data\levels\stuff\bitmaps

Then they will appear inside

tags\levels\stuff\bitmaps
