Hey there, I had a 3ds Max question: How do i Holo a Spring model out? I can't seem to do it. The reason is so that i can make a cool up & downward Spiral for Vehicles to go on. If anyone has more information about this please post it. And also if someone know how to make the whole Vehicle drivable in the Tube please also tell me.

Thanks

Just delete the end and beginning faces of the spring so its like a tube with an open edge on each end. Than give it the shell modifier.

Or add a loft object (round circle shape) to the spring spline.

Or use subtraction B-A for Boolean. I tried to send you the vid, but you left.

HDoan in the first post who had the idea about deleting some faces and then using the "Shell Modifier" worked great. That idea saved me alot of time. Thanks!
