They help control certain things like, the headlights turning on when the vehicle is occupied and other misc things like that.

So if one of those functions allow for boarding? Meh I dont get it, Maybe I have to actully make something to understand.
Personally the Engine for Halo is a litttle somewhat jacked. Just bumping into someone (aka: another player) kills them. And in the unlikely event that a chance gleams for you to grab a banshee the AI will most likely steer twoards you and if you make a mistake youll be dead like taht unless you pump lead. Which is what I would perferably do.

All though I do agree that the Halo engine isn't perfect I do think they should put boarding into the game. It's a pretty big change and would change the style of gameplay by giving players more options. Besides there are some default functions in the game that aren't completely neccesary and could be replaced by the boarding function. Edited by SwordMa5ster on Jul 29, 2009 at 09:59 PM

It is if you use the IGM Multi team vehicles external app, and write your own code. What. Why do you need to write any code? The only problem with the boarding script is a) You need to do it for every single vehicle b) You need to be able to have two different teams in the same vehicle. The only reason why you needed the multi team app was for b. However, Masters said that they figured out how to do it with no scripts.

Masters, I'd remove the cockpit lights function since the player won't actually see them on a regular basis.
The function deal is beyond me. I'm sure it involves a lot of work outside of guerilla for it to work. Edited by DarkHalo003 on Jul 30, 2009 at 02:38 PM

I'm out of them as far as a,b,c, and d go. I have it working, but my banshee model wouldn't accept new markers for the seats. I needed 3 of them and any new marker we add defaults to 0, 0, 0 ingame

You might not need it for banshees because normally they don't get close enough to hijack. Unless you guys modified them so they would try to splatter MC instead of just shooting and divebombing you.

It's still something i'd like to have, the way I wanted the markers set up would make it not that uncommon a sight to see someone lead onto a banshee.

No, make it for the Hawk. Just make it like a ghost with the functions I mentioned.

The reticule is a bit offset from the original crashing area, and the Pelican travels much faster that the differences in flight are noticeably at twice a larger scale. Please, don't make the Hawk fly like the Banshee, the only difference'd be aesthetics. Seriously.

Finally i find the truth about your team
"You do alot of CMT?" Healy asked as they marched toward the number three station. Avery knew the acronym: Colonial Militia Training, one of the UNSC's more controversial activities. Officially, CMT was all about helping the locals help themsleves-training colonists to deal with natural disasters and basic internal security so the marines didn't have to keep to many boots on the ground. Unofficially, it was designed to create paramilitary anti-Insurrectionist forces-though Avery had often wondered if it was really a good idea to give colonials on politicaly unstable worlds weapons, and train them to use them. In his experiance todays ally was often tomorrows foe."

No, what about this, you keep a secret until release like how Bungie kept the secret that you'll be playing as Thel in Halo 2.

If lacking tagspace, why not replace some rarely seen weapons and vehicles? I know you removed all that were obsolete, but there just has to be something the team has put in which is unnecessary. What I mean is, put it in one level, and replace it in the other.
