Well, Ima workin on making bullets be able to penetrate materials. The problem is uhm, the problem. I know that this is possible, but I'm not sure what to set the initial friction to in guerilla in da projectile tag. Or is this even the right way?

Simplified: How do i maek bullets shoot through surfaces.

Open up the projectile tag. Scroll to the bottom. Select the surface you want, and set the response to "overpenetrate". Set the effect. Save.

i dont think anything can penetrate BSP objects. iv tried this too
if had to take a guess why, its because if you shoot at the sky, the projectile gets destroyed when it hits the sky, so having it go outside the BSP causes it to be destroyed to free up memory

Model the scenery into the BSP as !render Only and put playerclipping around them.

Yep, that's the catch. It's not that the projectile can't penetrate the BSP, it's just that it gets deleted the moment it exits the BSP. Try teleporting yourself in any flying vehicle outside any map's BSP, and you'll see none of the projectiles get created. Projectiles can't exist outside the BSP.

But, penetrating any non-BSP object works fine, so it's not entirely useless.

Speaking of this, just for kicks, try setting the sniper bullet to reflect on every material in a somewhat big indoor map, like Hang 'em High. It's hilarious. One shot makes the whole place look like a laser show, and a lot of times it ricochets back to you and you shoot yourself. Surprisingly, it doesn't really lag.

"Model the scenery into the BSP as !render Only and put playerclipping around them."

This seems like it would be the most probable way to do this.

Halo isnt really designed to have bullet penetration.
