well i was working on this while arkaman made the new HUD, for the Hyrule map.

I was hoping to upload it on the site, but it's spread on my folders. so im wondering if anyone's willing to volunteer, in organizing the laser tags and uploading them (or perhaps you could place it on a custom map so i dont have to release another tutorial mod).
it contains sound ingame, and works well.

the only animation that bothers me personally is the melee one, but i tested it ingame -as if it was regular gameplay, and it was hardly noticable.
i can still work on it, but it could look worse than what it looks like right now.

Nice! I like them a lot. One thing is though... If it is possible the reticle could be animated when charging the splaz4r for firing. how long till you release these tags? ;)

edit... is it just me or is this topic and or forum dead at night??

Work on the contrails.. Find a contrail that has more white in the middle of the bitmap if you know what I'm saying. Projectile offset seems a bit large as well, should be something like X -0.1. Make sure the impact should cause splash damage as well, that's important ;)

Also the impact explosion smoke is way too large, I'd say use something like a Plasma Pistol overcharge as a base for the effects. I'm not big on effects though.

E: Looking at it now, does it only fire one projectile..?

Burst: Delete the primary trigger projectile. Set a secondary trigger, add the laser projectile. On the primary trigger, set the a charge and overcharge time, and overcharge reaction to discharge. Set the spew time to something short, I'm not exactly sure how long it has to be to release five projectiles ALA Halo 3.

At least that's what I think off the top of my head.

yea it only shoots one projectile, with 2 rounds.

it used to have 1 proj, 8 rounds, but the MC went flying after getting shot.

it has splash damage.

ill work on the charging, the shot, and the contrail then.

I'd love to help you with this, looks awesome.
I can design contrails, detail maps, organize folders(as you so requested), and many other things (Besides model, lol)

Also, that anim error is on the rocket launcher too, so don't worry.
