well after a while, i still cant get my halo 2 marine bipeds to work. i changed the biped part of a marine actor varient with a h2 biped but it doesnt work. can anyone tell me what i did wrong.
1. i put the h3t file(the biped pack i download from halomaps) in my characters folder

2. i go to geurilla and change the biped of a marine_armored.actor varient to the biped i download in h3t.

what did i do wrong. and dont tell me i'm right because it doesnt work...

I'm pretty sure you open the .biped, scroll down to HUD, change it to the default cyborg hud for both MP and SP, scroll further til Weapons, change the weapons to AR\Pistol.

so when i try to add it into sapien, this is what the error is in debug.txt

where am i supposed to put these tags, in what folder because clearly i put my tags in the weong place. i put my biped tags in the h3t folder and that folder is in the characters

So you currently have the folder tags\h3t\characters\marine?

did you put the folder in tags\characters or tags\h3t\characters

it should be in the second one if it is not

I think the tags are corrupt or something, as the error message is not saying it can't find the tags, it's saying it just can't open them.

Put them in tags\h3t\characters. Should work then.(Next time read the sacred text of debug.txt)

so i should put the h3t file in the tags folder instead of the characters folder? ok i'll try that

The creator of the h2 biped tags is working on some fixed ones so.. like can you wait beause he said there coming out new and improved.

I have those tags from along time ago... make sure the h3t folder is in tags not in charecters or else were.... also alot of things in that folder do not work as is they need fixing which is what I did....


For example: I made new shader_models and shaders for things in that folder and got all my things working
