It has tons of potential in many games, especially the RPG variety, and i think we already have pleanty of them crashed on the ground. I'm just wondering why noones bothered to make it yet.

yes but none with flyable ones. what i was thinking is that in a map you could put it on top of a large floating ship where you start, and you can do one of two things: A) fly down to the middle of the action and engage the enemy; or B) you could fly it to a remote location where you cloud set up a snipers nest. The only problem I can foresee is making it only flyable downward so it isn't abused as a cheap sort of way to make a grab for the flag. Edited by Hawkeye on Mar 31, 2009 at 06:14 PM

There's no point for flying lifepods. Bumblebee-class lifepods don't have any external thrusters, so they can't fly on their own power. They were meant to be ejected from a ship, and guide themselves down to the ground.

i know that but if someone were able to edit the non-crashed model so u could fly it and it could be slightly faster than most aircraft, it could be a viable way to get to a point quickly, provided you started from a high up point. Also, it could be particularly useful in RPG's to start off a game.

Plus a life pod really isn't for flying around. It's purpose is to get you out of the ship alive like in the first level of Halo. They can only control where it's falling to because it doesn't have an engine like the POA or the Pelican.
