The halo 3 odst thing gave me new respect for the odst's but I still like the jackals, but I've all way's had a soft spot for the elites. To join if and/or after the clan is up you will need a halomaps.org profile [note that xfire is not needed that's your call]. The clan rules are no cussing out other clan members or ally clan members, no back talk to clan leaders and/or officers [note this two acts can get you kicked from clan only games], and No hacking [aimboting]. Over all the clan is a good clan to be in. My clan members must follow the rules and be kind to others and also be a good sportsmen.

Note: That the highest rank you can get is Captain. The Rank of leader is mine. The 1st 3 members will start at the Rank of Lt. so the clan Court can be up and running. Everyone else who joins will start off as a Pvt.

Moving threw the Ranks:to do this you need to do Your Clan Duties [If any], Follow the Rules of the Clan,and Get a set Number of kills.

I think grunts would be better :P

Grunts can't last more than 3 sec. most of the time. They can kill you if your playing on heroic or your a noob. Jackals on the other hand are more like the U.S Navy Seals, the keep low [snipers do this more offten], shoot to kill, and and run like no tomorrow when they miss. Jackals may be some what weak, but do think they can't outrun you. Bottom line, Jackals are better then Grunts.

At least Grunts have manners. [In Halo 2, Sacred Icon, after Arbiter saves a Grunt and a Jackal] Grunt: "Thank you Arbiter!.... Stupid Jackal, say thank you!"

Comparing a Crapal to the US Navy Seals is like comparing apples and oranges. :| Also, Grunts are better than Jackals. Jackals die faster than Grunts when I'm playing LOL.

Jackals are physically inferior to Grunts. At least Grunts have the bravery to at least fire a few shots at you. Run up to a Jackal sniper, and he runs away covering his head.

Going CBQ with a sniper rifle is a bad idea, but Jackals can see very far and tell can hear better then the other covenant species. Also I've have seen a Jackal rush me and the other flank me! They might not be able to talk like we do, but they can do things I've never seen Grunts do or the Elites! One time I fired a Shotgun at point blank, and the Jackal lived and killed me, I said "WOW! I SHOT HIM AT POINT BLANK AND HE LIVED TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY AND KILLED ME!"
also the Jackals are fast runners one time I was ran out of ammo in both guns and i had a Jackal in my sights he ran I try to keep up,but he got away and my dad RAN ME OVER IN A WARTHOG :( I just sighed and said "that didn't pan out well. The jackals can beat you by confusing you and IT WORKS WELL TO!!!

I'm not sure whether this is true, or that you really suck at Halo. If you have an SMG and a Plasma pistol, two of the most common weapons in the game, you can easily tear them to shreds.

Their arch nemesis are the jetpack jackals with ninja clothing.

OK look I shot the Jackal a POINT BLANK IN THE FACE WITH THE SHOTGUN! NOW TELL ME HOW HE CAN LIVE THREW THAT! Yeah, but remember the video game world is diffrent then the real life World so The Jackals might make it. Wait You said the Jackals would burn in the atmosphere THEIR IN ODST PODS MADE TO OVER COME THIS PROBLEM! Odst would Brun up IF THEY WERE NOT IN THE PODS

Humans are physically more resilient and strong than Jackals. Imagine Jackals like giant birds. Or Velociraptors. They are swift, but have hollow bones, and are weak.

Anyway, unless you modded the map, a Jackal CANNOT take one point blank shotgun shot in the face, unshielded. Jackals in Halo 1 have a body vitality of 50 only. Even an Elite, with a body vitality of 100 and shield vitality of 100 (100+100=200), will die after a shotgun blast at point blank range, and you expect a Jackal with one fourth of its health to survive it?

IRL Jackals don't exist.

Orbital Drop Shock Troopers don't either.

But Shock Troopers do.

I was playing on with some skulls on and was playing on legendary. Also the Jackals are fast and can think faster than Grunts and the Jackals Fight LEADERLESS AND DON'T RUN WHEN THEIR LEADER IS KILLED LIKE THE GRUNTS DO!
