Create a new model, which will be the collision, that cover your model. Make it fit the model, but dont make it too complicated, or tool will whine and give you errors. After you created it, export it as a jms with a name like collision. Run tool and type in: tool collision-geometry (your file location here), and, if there are no errors, it will build it.

For weapons, can the collision model simply be a box? It's not like they're going to be interacting with the environment a whole lot anyway, so it would save space.
