k. I have a couple of music sound tags (.sound and .sound_looping) that I want to play when the player is fighting an enemy. However (when using sound_loopings), I noticed that whenever the player is under enemy fire, the music will stop, but will continue after the enemy is out of range. This only happens to certain music files. Any help?

You have a 44kHz sound that isn't supposed to be 44 kHz. Music is supposed to be 44 kHz; everything else (I think, there may be other exceptions) is supposed to be 22kHz.
Go identify the sound and then use Audacity to change it from 44100 kHz to 22050 kHz.
