I made this base, the thunderbucket, as a scenery tag for a level i'm making called thunderbucket_assault. anyway, as you can see from the pics there's some problems.

for one, there's no texture..it's just an amorphous gray blob once you get inside. i can't seem to create a bitmap for guerilla in tool, for the main surface or the ladder inside; it keeps saying TIFF doesn't exist but i know it does (command line: tool bitmap tb10), i put it in TB's folder. the only way the color shows up is by throwing a grenade inside or using the flashlight...i'm guessing it needs some radiosity but i can't find a tutorial/explanation on how to do this to scenery.

the pics explain the problems pretty clearly. i've been at this all day trying to figure it out. also, any help with adding teleporters inside the tank and adding a flushing sound to them, in addition to any help with the previous problem, is appreciated.

"tool bitmap tb10", if tb10.tiff is in "\data\", next to levels, vehicles, characters, etc.
so, it needs to be "tool bitmap \tb10"

try without the "data\" part: "tb10\bitmaps\tb10.tif"

You don't need to put the file extension on there.

rescale bimap to either of the below

1024

on aside note don't add bases as scenery, ading to bsp will make it much easier

thanks that worked

it seemed too complicated that way, i want to build it first just to get the whole idea to work, the rest of the map is basically two large boxes. i'm adding stall walls, a sink, and maybe a hand drier later. i may even try to make a plunger as a melee weapon but, well...one aneurysm at a time.

now the whole thing is messed up, sapien says it can't find shaders and won't load the scenery properly here's the file tree as i have it now, think this might have something to do with it

Halo CE\tags\tb10\bitmaps\porcelain.bitmap
