Maps are supposed to be played, not hacked. Simple as that.

Hunter, you are one of the very few, being serious here, that have posted supportive, and information, that is what everyone, and sometimes me too =P, needs to know.

The storyline is more important than the models right now, and the only way this movie is going to be finished, (meaning: quicker, and "maybe" better quality), is if people start to help. Halo Maps users, or people off the street that hate the game Halo.

THANK YOU HUNTER!

Listen, watch the day the earth stood still. No, not 2008. The 1951 version. It beats the 2008 why? The story line was amazing, so was the acting and the filming. The visuals were nothing special but the movie is a classic, however...the 2008 will not be.

I highly doubt you fella's know filming techniques or are prepared to render this much.

well mate i could send you a copy of my voice... but i need to know a few things first...

1) im not talking about the plot here... but how exaclty is this movie going to be made?
2) how large is the cast?
3)when do we start?
4)when do we finish?
5) and last but not least... how much experience do you have with machinima and movie making?

btw i have faith that you can do this if you put your mind to it and if everyone would stop tellin him he cant do this why dont you shut up and join him so he CAN do it im sure the movie will be great and like hes said before there are only a few people actually being serious and with that being sai i only have one morre thing left to say... im with ya all the way buddy ;)

I am telling a truth here, we have many models, you have seen various images, remember the "Ranger" thread, that was basically all Cody, and some of Red Haze.

For weapons, Red Haze has shown a few, and is doing them for our movie, since they are being modeled as we post, its a no on those, I have a bunch of images, I just do not want to post them up, I have kept far too many, lol, about a gigabyte, and all my images (most) from 2008 are zipped up in compression file I zipped up like 30 times, so 1gb = 50mb now.

I really have nothing to show, I am guessing you expect more from me? well, I do too, but its going on 10:00pm here, and with 2 members out sick or injured (no joking) I am imagless at this moment. Those 2 members are the animator and a modeler, and thats also why our pre-render trailer is late.

Yes, i am one of the 2 that is out injured, I apparently tore my biceps tendon in my dominant hand, so I have had a ton of trouble modeling with just my other hand that has no coordination in it at all. The injury may keep me out for a while if it really is my bicep tendon, doctor said it was my bicep tendon or a muscle in my upper arm

In a game that encourages custom content: that would be incorrect.

Not to attack anyone here for age, but the average age on this forum is like 12, if you want this 'movie' to be engaging I think your gonna need some voices that are actually aged.

I am 17, have a decent voice for a Marine. Though, at my dads, I am limited to resources such as a Mic and Audicity.

Agreed, but remember, the movie has children and young adults in it, such as young "John".
And all the other Spartans, before they were matured.

We need all kinds of voices, but we need to finish the script, and storyboard before we get into recording anything.

do protect their stuff so we dont get more BG mods
People don't "protect" their released maps to prevent Bloodgulch mods. People protect their released maps because they want the imagined bragging rights and the perceived accolades. People protect their released maps for various and usually selfish, although they may not realize it, reasons. Anyone who claims that they are protecting their released maps for the good of others is lying, their real reason is for themselves.

I am not saying to not protect released maps, but just be honest as to why you are doing so. There is no altruism in the decision whatsoever: Quite the opposite.

exactly... too bad it'll go out through the other ear :p
